Muneyb Minhazuddin

Muneyb Minhazuddin is a proven growth leader with a track record of incubating and scaling new B2B businesses at the intersection of emerging technologies and market inflection points. He has successfully driven innovation at global technology leaders, including Intel, VMware, and Avaya, building entirely new multibillion-dollar product lines and opening markets beyond their core business portfolios.

Before joining Ambarella, Muneyb served as Chief Marketing Officer for Intel’s Network and Edge Group, where he led the go-to-market strategy and helped establish Intel’s commercial Edge AI software business.

At VMware, he spent a decade shaping the company’s transition from virtualization to cloud and container infrastructure. He was a key architect of the Software-Defined Data Center (SDDC) market category creation and helped VMware build cloud solutions with all hyperscalers. He also founded VMware’s Edge Computing and Private Mobile Networks businesses, growing them from inception to global traction.

Earlier in his career at Avaya, Muneyb rose from an R&D engineer to Chief Technology Officer over a decade. During that time, he contributed to multiple global networking standards (IEEE, IETF, ATM Forum) and was awarded 19 patents in networking and unified communications. Muneyb started his career as an Australian federal government research scientist at CSIRO, where he contributed to the networking stack of the Linux kernel.
