Day joined Ambarella in 2010 after serving 25 years in a range of executive, marketing, and sales roles in the semiconductor industry. Prior to joining the company, Day was president and CEO of Mobilygen, a leading developer of H.264 video compression chips, which was acquired by Maxim Integrated Products. Before Mobilygen, Day was general manager of media processing at NXP (formerly Philips Semiconductor), and has held senior sales and marketing positions at C-Cube Microsystems, AuraVision, Motorola, and Hitachi. Day holds a BSc (Hons) degree in Computer and Microprocessor Systems from the University of Essex, UK and an MBA from Santa Clara University.
