安霸股份有限公司為業界先進技術的領導廠商,主要提供低功耗、超高畫質影音壓縮與影像處理半導體的解決方案。
安霸的產品開拓出一塊新的多功能照相攝影機市場,僅需一台相機,消費者便能同時享有無與倫比的超高畫質影音與數位影像。許多世界頂尖廠牌的相機與照相攝影機都採用安霸的系統單晶片。
安霸的技術也廣泛應用在超高畫質電視影像傳輸的領域,世界各地許多電視節目都是經由安霸晶片壓縮後而傳送的。
此外,安霸的系統單晶片不但足以帶動最新一代超高畫質安全監控攝影機的發展,同時業已大量出貨至世界各地。
安霸公司於2004年由一群在影像處理與編碼之半導體領域身經百戰的沙場老將所成立。該團隊的任務是完成在最低功耗與低位元率下,捕捉超高畫質影像的技術。
為了要能達成這個目標,我們研發出了一個能夠跨平台、跨市場應用的架構。這個架構形成了一個增效循環,把一個市場的優勢技術應用到其他相關市場,將取得加成效果。
